Finish Forty and Home Selected by UNT Press for AAUP Fine Print

Finish Forty and Home was included in the most recent gallery of the Association of American University Presses entitled Fine Print. Fine Print requested each of their members to "select one title from their history of publishing that they believe exemplifies that history and their mission. Upcoming Book Signing Events

  • Book Release Party, November 12 at 1:00 at the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport, 1930 Memorial Blvd., Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  
The City of Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee State University's Aerospace Department will be sponsoring a book release event for Finish Forty and Home: The Untold WWII Story of B-24s in the Pacific on Saturday, November 12 at 1:00 at the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport. The author, Phil Scearce, will read from his book and respond to questions. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
  • Book Signing, December 10 from 1-3 p.m. at the Trent River Coffee Company, 208 Craven Street, New Bern, North Carolina. 
Phil Scearce will sign copies of his book along with his dad, Herman Scearce, the central character in his book, at the Trent River Coffee Company, 208 Craven Street, New Bern, North Carolina. The event is scheduled for December 10 from 1-3 p.m. Phil will read selections from his book and respond to questions. The book signing is free and open to the public.
